I was late in delivering a London band of the week last week so I'm getting back on track today with one for this week.
The band are called Belleruche. It is adventurous, trip-hopping, mesmerising music. There is so much I like about this. Indie rock basslines, groovy laid back drumming, angsty 90's alt-pop vocals. Not surprising giving their style that they're on the stellar Tru Thoughts label. Check them out in Koko on May 14th, and at SXSW if you're lucky enough to be going. I'm new-music-mecca based next year, it has to happen, who's with me?! K, have a listen to Belleruche, quality band.
